Clawson defeated host South Lake in straight sets (25-9, 25-14, 25-10) on Thursday in its first league match of the year.
Charlie Verner led the Trojans with seven kills, seven digs and three aces. Aliyah Vesper had nine kills and four aces, and Renata Carlesimo had 13 assists and seven digs.
Ava LaMotte had six digs and three aces, and Abby Myren had five assists, four digs and three aces.
Clawson is 1-0 in the MAC Silver, and 2-0 overall.
