The JV Girls Basketball team go 1-1 on the week. They started with a tough 1 point lose at Roseville. The scoring was led by Dana Moss' 7 tough points, while all the girls fought through the very physical battle for all 4 quarters.
In a Saturday night special the girls bounced back. While they started out slow, they finished the final 4 minutes of regulation in a flury down 6 and turning it into a 7 point win 30-23 in Overtime. Clawson was led by 8 points from Sydney Love which 7 came in the 4th qtr and OT, 6 from Cortland Niezguski and Jonae Busbee each while Alana O'kane chipped in 5. The turn around was sparked by Cortland's tenacious press decisions.
Big week ahead with home vs St Clair Monday, Wednesday at Lake Shore,and Friday home vs Fraser.
