Clawson finished fifth at the Our Lady of the Lakes Tournament on Saturday.

Aliyah Vesper led the Trojans totaling 27 digs and 19 kills. Charlie Verner had 14 kills, 13 digs and six aces, and Ava LaMotte had 41 digs and four aces.

Gabrielle Kalcec had 11 blocks, and Jillian Liford had nine kills and four blocks. Hayley Kauffman added four kills and three blocks, and Justice Biddle had 16 digs.

Anna Smith had 26 assists and 14 digs, and Renata Carlesimo had 20 assists and eight digs.

Clawson started the day off with a win over Shrine (25-20, 25-23), but then dropped a tough match against Howell (25-13, 25-17). The Trojans wrapped up pool play splitting with North Farmington (18-25, 25-16) to place second in its pool.

The Trojans then advanced to play Cranbrook in the quarterfinals, and despite rallying from a 24-22 deficit late in the second, Clawson could not complete the rally and fell in two sets (25-14, 27-25).

Clawson moves to 3-8-4 overall.
