Clawson fell to Lamphere in four sets (25-9, 19-25, 25-23, 26-24) on Tuesday.
Alex Verner led the Trojans with 13 kills and six digs. Aliyah Vesper had nine digs and seven kills, and Jillian Liford had seven kills and five blocks.
Charlie Verner had nine blocks and two kills, and Hayley Kauffman had five blocks and four kills. Renata Carlesimo had 19 assists, and Ava LaMotte had 10 digs.
Clawson rebounded after a slow start to win the second set 25-19, which evened the score at 1-1. The Trojans continued to play hard throughout the rest of the match, but lost the last two sets by two points each.
Clawson falls to 5-11-4 overall, and 3-3 in the MAC Silver.
