Clawson fell in three sets to Royal Oak Shrine (25-17, 25-16, 25-14) in its home opener on Monday.
Anna Smith led the Trojans with eight assists, six digs and two kills. Emma Dibble had seven digs, and Laney DeKorte had five digs and three kills.
Clawson (0-4) next plays at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Lutheran Northwest.
