Clawson dropped both of its matches at the Lutheran Northwest Tri on Tuesday.

The Trojans lost in two sets against Avondale (25-22, 25-10) before falling to Lutheran Northwest (25-17, 25-19).

Ava Richards led the Trojans with solid all-around play, totaling six digs and two kills, and also led the team with a 1.45 serve receive average. Emma Dibble had 15 total digs, Gloria Lock had nine digs and two kills, and Laney DeKorte had eight digs, two kills and two blocks. Anna Smith added nine digs.

Clawson (0-6) begins conference play next week when it hosts Lake Shore at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 7.
