Clawson fell to host Cousino in three sets (25-9, 25-18, 25-12) on Thursday.
Evie Liford led the Trojans with five digs, three blocks and two kills. Sarah McLeod had nine digs, and Hannah Chateau had seven digs.
Jodie Stevens had four assists, Sophia Snyder had four digs, and Lana Wilder had three digs and three aces.
Clawson is now 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the MAC Gold. The Trojans will have their home opener on Thursday at 6 p.m. against L'Anse Creuse.
