The Trojans lost the 1st set 9-25 but had a thrilling comeback to take the 2nd set 25-23. The next set the Trojans battled point for point against Shrine and had some amazing plays to stay in the set but came up short 16-25. During the 4th set, the Trojans continued to pursue every ball, dig it up, set it high and continued to swing point by point but ended up falling 21-25.
Leading the way were seniors Meghan Shea with 10 kills, 12 digs, 4 serve receive and an ace. Lana Wilder added 11 kills, 9 digs, 4 serve receive and Sarah McLeod added 10 kills, 12 digs, 4 serve receive and an ace. Abby Genette added two digs and 3 serve receive, Elaina McDonald added 20 assists 3 blocks, 1 kill, Dana Moss added 2 digs, and 2 blocks, Mallory Coatta added 1 kill point, 2 blocks and 2 digs, Josie Horne added 6 digs, 1 kill and an ace, Sophia Snyder added a kill, Grace Fisher had a serve receive, Joslynn Ramirez added two digs and Cassidy Perry added 2 assists. While the Trojans ended up falling to Shrine, they played hard and made Shrine earn every point.
