Clawson's JV-A team endured a tough loss to Warren Mott on Tuesday night. It was a tough-fought match, ending in a 2-point loss. Clawson was led by a strong defensive team from Hannah Chateau, Katie Kage, and Shannon Starr. Katie Kage setting up Meghan Shea perfectly, leading her to get 6 kills in the second set. Warren Mott came out ready to end the game after the second set, but Clawson did not give up. Clawson’s Meghan Shea led the team with 3 great blocks. Ava Richards holding her own with leading the teams in serves The Trojans held their own against a strong team, and will improve from this loss. The girls will go on to face Fitzgerald, Austin Catholic, Parkway Christian, and Warren Mott in the Fitzgerald Varsity Volleyball Tournament this Saturday. Good luck girls!
