The cross country team competed against 13 other teams in the MAC Blue Jamboree at Lake St. Clair Metropark on Tuesday.  

In the first race Lamphere and Marysville runners set a quick pace through the first half-mile, but Claire Thomson and Abbey Lodato stuck with their race plan and finished 1st and 3rd respectively.  Sam Brown continues to make her senior season her fastest.  This time she was nearly 3 minutes faster than she was at the jamboree last year.  Sarah Spielbusch finished 50th out of the 92 runners in the contest and was almost a half-minute faster than her previous mark for this race.  The girls finished the meet with a 5-8 dual meet record.

The boys were missing Ryan Lodato for the race, so it fell to Michael Pizzo to set the pace.  The senior finished with a season best 21:30.  Crossing the line second for the Trojans was Jon Price, who also set a season best time for himself.  Gabe Stevens, Jon Dickey, Nico Nader, and Alex Lomeli rounded out the finishers for team.  The boys finished the meet with a 2-11 dual meet record.
