The cross country team wrapped up their league season with the MAC Division Championship Meet at Eastwood Beach at Stoney Creek Metropark.

Abbey Lodato ran a PR of 20:35 and took 3rd in the MAC Blue race.  Claire Thomson's 19:44 was her fastest 5k yet, but it wasn't quite enough, as Kate Robbins, of Lamphere, finished just ahead of her to claim first place.  This was the Claire's first defeat in a MAC Blue race.  Sarah Spielbusch ran sub-26 for the first time of her career and Sam Brown ran a season best time of 25:01.
The boys' team took 11th overall with Ryan Lodato, Michael Pizzo, Luke Wilder, Jon Price and Nico Nader all scoring for the Trojans in the Varsity race.  Freshman Luke Wilder was the only Trojan to set a PR on the 5k course..  

The teams are looking towards the Regional Meet at Linden on October 26.  The top 15 runners at that meet will qualify for the state finals.
