Cross Country Competes at MAC Blue Jamboree #2

The boys and girls team made the trek to Port Huron to compete against 17 other teams in the second MAC Blue Jamboree of the season. The course was muddy and thick with mosquitoes, but the Trojans overcame these obstacles.
Owen Windgaston was once again the top finisher for Clawson. He clocked a 19:44 for the 5k distance. Cole Wyckoff, Matthew McClain, Caden Jones, and Xander Frink rounded out the varsity spots. The team came away from the jamboree with dual meet victories over Center Line, Lake Shore, Port Huron, Roseville, Sterling Heights, Fitzgerald, Hazel Park, and Eastpointe.
Lovelyn Ketepa was the fastest runners for the Clawson girls, and she finished 12th overall in the race. Lizzie Schneider, Charly Werenka, Calleigh McMillan, and Lucy Thomson all ran tough races and helped the Trojans to a 6th place finish in the dual meet standings.
