The Trojans lost in the district championship in extra innings to Bishop Foley 8 to 7. Stevens pitched well in 5 and 1/3 innings only allowing 3 hits and striking out 11 batters. The offense was led by Groves with 3 hits and Stephan added 2 hits with 2 huge RBI's. McCaffrey and Therrien added 2 hits as well. Therrien's 2nd hit was a perfectly laid bunt for a single in the 8th inning that almost became the tying run. Stevens added a hit as well. Lock had a key RBI to tie the game in the bottom of the 7th. Tough loss to end the season for the Trojans, but the Trojans showed a lot of toughness coming back from deficits of 5 to 1 and 7 to 4 scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th to send it to extra innings. Good season guys!
