Clawson was powered behind the great mound performance from Sarah McLeod earning her 3rd win. She went all 7 innings only giving up 1 earned run, 8 k's and 2 hits.
After Sophomore Dana Moss stayed hot to begin the season, Sarah(4RBI) started the scoring for the Trojans with a line drive home run over the centerfield fence.
Clawson and it's improving defense took game 1 6-2.
Game 2 Clawson fought but lost 8-18. Lavena Holcomb, and first timers Dana Moss and Cortland Niezguski got some well needed Varsity experience pitching.
The mixture of experience and youth is gelling nicley so far.
