JV softball won the Waterford Tournament yesterday. They went undefeated on the day.
In game 1 of the day against Waterford, Clawson won 18-3. Sydney Love went 2-2 and 4 RBI's. Cortland Niezguski went 2-2 and hit a monstrous double, which scored one run. Saphira Jones went 1-1 with 3 RBI's. The Team had a total of 12 hits. Josie Horne struck out 9 batters.
In the Championship game vs the Holly Broncoes, Clawson won 14-10. The team was down by 4 at one point in the game, in the second inning Clawson scored 5 rins to take the lead and never looked back. Alaina Maloney went 2-2 with 2 RBI's, Cortland Niezguski went 2-2 with 3 RBI's.
