Clawson Girls Varsity Tennis suffered their first loss of the season to Regina High School. It was very very close and an injury at #4 Singles was a likely difference maker. It was a non-conference match against a tennis power. Three Clawson flights made a huge step toward seeding for the State regional qualifier, by winning against Regina.  Our #1 Singles, Layna Thompson won going away.  #2 Doubles, Capt. Olivia Bailey and partner Arnela Pobric dominated.  #1 Doubles Ava LaMotte and Natty Lertkasem lost the first set, came back and won the second set and match tiebreaker convincingly.

Clawson is 4-1.  Clawson plays a conference match Friday against Marine City at home.
