Clawson Girls Varsity Tennis put a vise grip on the division championship by defeating South Lake HS on Friday. With two league matches remaining they have a magic number of one and control their own destiny. They continued to win decisively in straight sets across the board. They advanced to 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the MAC. Tennis has a busy upcoming week. With matches against Centerline and Warren Fitzgerald they will put the finishing touches in the MAC division. They will also play two teams in the top ten in the state to prepare for the state qualifier.
