The Girls Varsity Track Team gave everything they had and placed 3rd at Regionals out of 17 teams with 94 points and four athletes earning the right to go to State Finals on Saturday June 3rd.

The girls started off the meet with a 4th place finish in the 4x800 with the team of Alyssa Cohen, Lucy Thomson, Charly Werenka and Hailey DeRosia and never stopped.  

Navannah Jones started off the list of girls earning a spot at States with her 2nd place finish in the 100HH and then a 5th place finish in the 300 low hurdles. 

Lucy Thomson ran a PR in the 800 earning a 7th place finish and then followed it up with a 4th place in the 3200 with another PR. 

Hailey DeRosia added another win earning a 6th place finish in the 1600. 

Charly Werenka ran a PR in the 1600 and placed 10th and also followed it up with a 6th place in the 3200 and another PR. 

Teammates MaKayla Richardson, Navannah Jones, Mariah Morris and Elyse Swinson earned a 5th place in the 4x100 and another in the 4x200 with Kendall Jackson,  MaKayla Richardson, Mariah Morris and Elyse Swinson.

Evie Liford dominated the field events earning a 2nd place in shot and a 1st in discus and Morgan Kleiner was right there earning a 2nd place in discus sweeping the top spots and both earning trips to States. 

Lovelyn Ketepa earned an 8th place in the 100 and then followed it up with 2nd in the 200 and wrapped it up with 1st in the 400 & long jump with PR's in both 200 & 400 earning a trip to States in the 200, 400 & long jump.
