JV Girls Split the Week

Trojans Win: 30.00 - 23.00
The JV Girls Basketball team go 1-1 on the week. They started with a tough 1 point lose at Roseville. The scoring was led by Dana Moss' 7 tough points, while all the girls fought through the very physical battle for all 4 quarters.
In a Saturday night special the girls bounced back. While they started out slow, they finished the final 4 minutes of regulation in a flury down 6 and turning it into a 7 point win 30-23 in Overtime. Clawson was led by 8 points from Sydney Love which 7 came in the 4th qtr and OT, 6 from Cortland Niezguski and Jonae Busbee each while Alana O'kane chipped in 5. The turn around was sparked by Cortland's tenacious press decisions.
Big week ahead with home vs St Clair Monday, Wednesday at Lake Shore,and Friday home vs Fraser.
Results not what we wanted but the Process got better.

Trojans Lose: 12.00 - 36.00
The JV Girls Basketball team lost twice last week, yet the team showed improvements in many areas.
Standouts for the week were Sydney Love, Jaden Belanger, Josie Horne and Mckenna Derifield. Sydney showed extra effort in the little things which paid off scoring buckets. Mckenna gets her first High School points as Jaden showed some grit on the boards. Josie showed toughness for her team playing with a black and blue shooting hand to lead the offense.
This week we are home Tuesday vs St Clair, Thursday at Roseville, and Saturday Home vs Lake Shore.

Trojans Win: 38.00 - 26.00
Tuesday Night the JV Girls took advantage of their free-throws draining 11. Hailey DeRosia
leads the way with 12 points while Cortland adds 8 and Dana Moss with 7. Josie Horne
spearheaded the pressure D and handles the rock well against the pressure. Everyone contributed
as we gain some more experience and get better each day.
Clawson Battles to 27-30 Loss

Trojans Lose: 27.00 - 30.00
The Girls JV team gave everything they've got and came up just short in their comeback bid. The defense, hustle, rebounding, and EFFORT from every player kept them in the game. This week the girls showed very good improvement on everything we emphasized in practice. I could not be prouder!

JV Girls Start Season With a Dub

Trojans Win: 30.00 - 21.00
The JV Trojans 30-21 victory over Lakeview was led in points by Alan O'kane with 10. Josie Horne and Sydney Love added 5 each. The game was led by a high energy start, hustling for every loose ball and a stingy defense.
Next up is Lamphere Friday night.
