The Trojans won a nail biter at the park over a solid New Haven team 6 to 5. Dunlap reached base all 4 times with 2 singles, a walk, and a HBP. He also threw out a runner at home who was tagging from third base when the game was tied at 5 in the 5th inning. McCaffrey reached base 3 times on 2 singles and a walk with 1 RBI. Stevens had the game winning RBI in the bottom of the 7th with a bases loaded HBP. McCallum had a key at-bat leading off the bottom of the 7th with a walk. Roffe reached base 3 times with a single and 2 ROE with 1 RBI, and also pitched strong for 5 and 1/3 inning, giving up 5 hits and striking out 7. Stevens pitched a strong 1 and 2/3 innings and Dunlap shut the door in the top of the 7th by striking out the only batter he faced.
