Clawson showed well in the 5th Annual Judy Hacker Tournament. They earned the 2nd place trophy. A lot of offense was generated behind strong mound performances by Calleigh McMillan and Travedon Holcomb. Sarah Mcleod also got the save in game 2. Clawson came up short in the Championship game running into a stacked Capac team. Congrats to the Chiefs for the tournament victory.
Clawson Varsity Softball fought back 3 times showing grit and determination Wednesday in a loss to Warren Mott. Sarah McLeod gave up 5 earned runs with 6K's going the distance. She added 2 hits and 4 RBI's. Maloney added 2 hits as Perry and Wulff scored 2 runs a piece.
Despite the ugly weather, Clawson brought out the sunshine in a 22-7 victory Monday vs Parkway Christian. Calleigh McMillan went the distance striking out 7 and only yielding 4 earned runs. The offense was led by Sarah McLeod's 4 Rbi's while Jillian Wulff had 3. Sydney Love had 4 runs scored as a curtesy runner, Violet Streetman, CeCe Pedersen, and Cassidy Perry each had 3. The Highlights were CeCe's blasted line drive triple(Her first Varsity hit), and Perry's inside the park home run.
Monday the Varsity softball team lost it's first game 5-11 vs Warren Mott. Sarah McLeod had 10 K's in 7 innings giving up 6 earned runs. On offense she added 2 hits along with 2 runs scored by Sophia Snyder and first time "Touch em' ALL' BOMB by Alaina Maloney. Next up is at Centerline Wednesday 4:30pm.
Clawson Softball edges Troy 9-8 in a border war. Sophia Snyder leads the way with 2 hits, Rbi, 2 runs, and a stolen base. Sarah McLeod throws a complete game only giving up 3 earned and striking out 13. Nest up is a double header vs Seaholm.
Though talented, Lutheran Northwest was eclipsed by Clawson late as Calleigh McMillan has the go ahead hit, plating freshman Josie Horne that was ultimately the winning play. McLeod adds to McMillans 2 RBI with 3 herself on 3 hits. McLeod also closed out a great performance by Travadon Holcomb, earning her first Varsity win on the mound.

Varsity Softball gets their 3rd Win 13-3 over Waterford Mott. Chloe Fisher stays hot with 3 hits, 3 RBI’s, and 2 runs scored. McLeod added 3 RBI’s and got the win on the mound by striking out 7.

Opening day for the Varsity Softball Team was a pot of gold taking 2 in a DH from Hazel Park. Game 1 was 13-1 as Sarah McLeod hurled a No Hitter while striking out 11. Addison Tikey had 3 hits 3 runs 2 RBI’s and 4 stolen bases. Alaina Maloney added 2 hits and 3 RBI’s.
Game 2 finished 21-4. Calleigh McMillan gets the W as Travadon Holcomb closed it out with fire! Cassidy Perry shines with 3 hits 2 runs and 5 stolen bases. Lexi Bailey and CeCe Pedersen contribute 2 RBI’s each as Freshman Jillian Wulff gets 2 Doubles and 3 RBI’s.
