Boys Varsity Track Regionals at Bishop Foley

Trojans Win: 25 -
The boys track team had a stellar day at Regionals earning 25 points, personal records, and athletes heading to State on June 4th.
Earning 5th place in the 4x800 the team of Nick Lanfear, Luke Wilder, Gabe Stevens and Nick Pensom had a personal record time of 9:37.67. Luke Wilder earned 6th in the 1600 with a time of 5:55.72. Ivan Louris continued with the wins and earned an 8th place in Long Jump with a jump of 16'7.25. Nick Lanfear earned an 8th place in the 400 Dash with a time of 56.47 and Nick Penson took 1st in the 400 Dash with a time of 54.84 secord's earning a spot at State Finals June 4th. Clawson team of Nick Lanfear, Nick Penson, Ivan Louris and Gabe Stevens had an amazing run in the 4x400 at the end of the night running a personal record of 3:48.08 and just out of reach of States taking home a 3rd place finish. Way to go guys and good luck to Nick Penson at States!

Trojans Win: 86 - 33
The boys track team has another win against Hazel Park improving to 2-2 in the league with a final score of 86-33
Team of Gabe Stevens, Gabe Rey, Colin McClure and Luke Wilder started off the 1st place finishes with a win in the 4x800. They followed that up with Cole Wykoff & Caden Jones placing 1,2 in the 11 hurdes, Ivan, Nick, Gabe and Gabe placing 1st in the 4x100 and Ivan taking 3rd in the 100 dash. Luke Wilder, Caden Jones and Colin McClure swept the 1600 with 1st- 3rd place finishes and Nick Penson and Gabe Rey went 2, 3 in the 400. Cole Wykoff came back to take another 1st in the 300 hurdles and Nick Penson added to the mix with a 2nd in the 200. Gabe Rey, Luke Wilder and Caden Jones swept the 800 run and Ivan Louris, Cole Wykoff and Caden Jones swept the long jump. Gabe Rey and Gabe Stevens added 1st and 2nd in high jump and Jack Smith added a 1st in shot, a 2nd in discus and Parker Mikula added a 3rd in discus. Way to go Trojans!
Boys Varsity Track vs. New Haven & Centerline

Trojans Lose: -
he boys track team had a tough loss against Centerline and New Haven with injuries sidelining some teammates. Although they suffered a loss, individually they pulled out numerous individual wins.
The team of Jack Smith, Gabe Stevens, Gabe Rey, and Cole Wykoff earned a 1st place finish against both teams. Ivan Louris earned a 2nd in the 100 against New Haven and a 3rd against Centerline. They also place 2nd against Centerline in the 4x200. Gabe Rey earned double 2nd placed in the 400 and Cole Wykoff and Nico Nader placed 1st and 2nd respectively against both teams in the 300 LH. Caden Jones took a 2nd in the 800 against Centerline and Parker Mikula placed 3rd in the 200 against New Haven. Coline McClure added to the score with double 2nd places in teh 3200. Caden Jones added a 2nd and 3rd place in the long jump and Jack Smith wrapped it up with a 2nd place in in the discus against New Haven. Congratulations to all!
Boys Varsity Track vs. Fitzgerald May 10, 2022

Trojans Lose: -
The boys track team had a loss to Fitzgerald yesterday 28-83 but still ran away with individual wins. Luke Wilder took 1st place in the 1600 run and a 2nd in the 800 run, Nick Pensom beat out Fitzgerald at the finish line in the 400 Dash, and Jack Smith earned 1st place in the discus and 2nd place in shot. Ivan Louris earned a 2nd in the 100 dash and long jump and teammate Caden Jones earned 3rd in long jump. Last home meet of the season on May 17th.

Trojans Win: 77 - 28
The Boys & Girls Track team had their first league meet against East Pointe on April 14th which earned them a double win. Boys won 77-28, Girls 61-21
Team of TJack Smith, Gabe Stevens, Cole Wycoff and Luke Wilder started off the 1st place finishes with a win in the 4x00. That was followed bya 3rd place finish of Ivan Louris in teh 100, a 1st place with the team of Gabe Rey, Ivan Louris, Nick Penson and Nick Lanfear in both the 4x200 and the 4x100. Not to be outdone, Colin McClure added double 1st places in the 1600 & the 3200. Nick Lanfear and Luke Wilder added 2nd and 3rd in the 400 Run and Cole Wykoff took another 1st place in 300 LH. The 800 was swept by Luke Wilder, Caden Jones and Nico Nader and ended how they started with a 1st place in the 4x400 with Gabe Stevens, Luke Wilder, Nick Penson and Nick Lanfear.

Congratulations to the boys track team on running against the elements, including hail to pull out some wins.
Cole Wykoff placed 1st against Bishop Foley and Lamphere in the 300 LH & 3rd in the long jump, Gabe Rey placed 1st against Bishop Foley and Lamphere in the high jump and 4th in the 400 Run, Ivan Louris placed 2nd in the long jump, followed by Gabe Stevens placed 2nd in high jump, Nick Penson placed 3rd in the 400 Run and the team of Luke Wilder, Gabe Stevens, Gabe Rey and Nick Lanfear placed 3rd in the 4x800 Relay. Great job by all
