Clawson Boys Track Team hosted Regionals at the Park against 15 teams and did a great job. Matthew McClain placed 7th in the 3200 and 10th in the 1600, Cole Wycoff took 7th in the long jump, team of Xander Frink, Parker Mikula, Nick Figueroa and Matthew McClain took 8th in the 4x800 and team of Eric Robinson, Nick Figueroa, William Yates, and Romelle Washington to 7th in the 4x400. Great way to end the season.

Clawson Boys Track Team placed 4th in the MAC Bronze Championship meet earning 50 points. Highlights of the meet include Jordan Davenport earning 1st place in the long jump with a personal record of 19’1” and an 8th in the 400. Cole Wycoff took 4th in the 110HH & 300 hurdles and 4th in the long jump with a personal record of 18’ 3.5”. Portland Kellam-Johnson earned a 7th in the 200, and 6th in long jump. Matthew McClain earning 2nd place in the 3200, 3rd in the 1600, 5th in the 4x800 relay with teammates Xander Frink, Nick Figueroa, and Parker Mikula and 6th in the 800. Caden Jones earned a 5th in the 3200 and 8th in the 110HH. Nick Figueroa, Eric Robinson, Noah Smith, Roemell Washington, and William Yates earned 4th place finishes in the 4x200 relay, 5th in 4x100 & 4x400 relays. Great job by all!
While the boys track team fell to Hazel Park last night, the team had some in idividual success. Caden Jones earned 3rd place finishes in the 110 high hurdles, low hurdles and the 1600. Teammate Jordan scored a 2nd place in the 100, and thirds in both 200 and long jump. Matthew McClain took a 3rd in the 3200. Great job!
Clawson Boys Track team had a double dual against both Centerline & and Fitzgeral last night, winning against Fitzgerald 76-45 and loss to Centerline 78-43, for 2-2 in league, 2-4 for the season.
Starting the wins for the meet were Xander Frink, Romelle Washington, Nick Figueroa and Matthew McClain with a 1st in the 4x800 against Fitzgerald. Cole Wyckoff and Caden Jones went 1 & 2 against both teams in the 110 high hurdles & 300 hurdles. Portland Kellam-Johnson followed that up with double 3rd places in the 100 dash. William, Noah Smith, Nick Figueroa, and Eric Johnson earned a 1st place against Centerline in the 4x200. Matthew McClain earned a 1st & 3rd place in the 1600 and Caden Jones and Xander Frinkwent 2, 3 against Fitzgerald. Portland Kellam-Johnson increased the winning streak with a 1st in the 400 against Fitzgerald and 3rd against Centerline. Jordan Davenport earned a 2nd in the 400 against Fitzgerald. Matthew McClain added to his wins with a 2nd & 3rd in the 800 and Nick Nigueroa earned a 3rd against Fitzgerald. Portland earned a 2nd and 3rd in the 200 and Matthew McClain earned a 1st & 2nd in the 3200 run with teammates Caden Jones earning a 2nd & 3rd and Xander Frink a 3rd. Ending with the field events. Hunter Garrison earned a 2nd and 3rd in the high jump, Noah Smith and Romelle Washington earned 1st & 3rd against Fitzgerald and Cole Wycoff took double 1st places in long jump followed by Jordan Davenport earning double 2nd and Portland Kellam-Johnson taking a 3rd against Fitzgerald.
