Luke Wilder took the lead for the Trojans and guided the team to victory over 7 other teams in the MAC Blue Divisional Jamboree at Lake St. Clair Metropark on Tuesday.
Cameron Bean had the best improvement of the squad.  He ran with fellow freshmen, Cole Wyckoff and Caden Jones for most of the race, and dropped more than 2 minutes off his previous 5k best.  His effort helped the Trojans overtake Sterling Heights and Roseville in the meet.  Junior Gabe Stevens had a break in his soccer games and turned in a season best performance to finish second for the team.

The girls were short some runners.  Only Claire Thomson and Lovelen Kepeta were available to run.  Claire was the quickest Trojan of the day finishing the 5k in 20:12.
Lovelyn set a personal record of 26:44 and finished 30th out of the 66 runners who finished the race.

The team will be back at the metropark next Tuesday for the Championship Jamboree.
