Port Huron High School hosted the first MAC Blue Jamboree of the season on Tuesday afternoon.  The Trojans of Clawson took 7th place overall in both the boys and girls races.

Cole Wyckoff was the fastest Trojan of the day and went under the 21-minute barrier for the first time in his life.  Seniors Gabe Stevens and Luke Wilder were the 2nd and 3rd Trojans to cross the line, each dropping more than a minute from their race times on Saturday in Algonac.  Caden Jones, and Xander Frink rounded out the scoring positions for the Clawson squad while Scott Roberts made his 5k debut by taking the 6th spot on the varsity team.

In the girls race Lovelyn Ketepa continued her quick ways and was the first Clawson runner to finish the race.  Freshman Lizzie Schneider dropped more than three and a half minutes from her previous best to secure the second spot for Clawson, while Lucy Thomson set a personal record and finished just behind her.  Calleigh McMillan went sub-30 for the first time and Charly Werenka took final points position for the Trojans.

The Trojans will find their next race on Belle Isle on September 21st.  They will race in the Soter-Crane Invitational.
