The next set the Trojans battled point for point against Shrine and had some amazing plays to stay in the set but came up short 16-25. During the 4th set, the Trojans continued to pursue every ball, dig it up, set it high and continued to swing point by point but ended up falling 21-25.

Clawson ended the regular season 8-12 overall and 4-6 in league. First round of Districts is Monday November 4th where they host Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac at 7PM.
While the Trojans started off with a two set loss to Our Lady of The Lakes 23-25 & 8-25, they put everything on the line and fought back to win the next three sets straight 26-24, 25-23, & 15-6 with another late night finish. While celebrating Senior Night, the crowd cheered the team on and the Seniors rose to the occasion and battled point for point in a stunning battle to win the 4th set 31-29. They went all out to dominate the 5th set winning 15-8 to clinch the win. Leading the way was Senior Meghan Shea with 20 kills, 14 digs and 3 aces. Senior Lana Wilder added 11 kills, 5 aces and 15 digs. Senior Sarah McLeod added 3 kills, 2 aces, 17 digs. Clawson finished second overall at its Tribune Tournament in the Bronze division on Saturday with a 2-3 record.

Elaina McDonald had 7 assists, 4 digs, a block assist and a 1 kill. Mallory Coatta added 8 kills, 3 aces, a block assist, 1 assist, and 2 digs. Danielle Moss added a kill and Dana Moss added an assist and two kills. Abby Genette added 11 digs and a kill and Grace Fisher added 3 digs. Cassidy Perry added 31 assists, 16 digs, and 8 aces. Addison Tikey had 7 kills, 1 assist, a solo block and 2 assists. Sophia Snyder added 8 aces, 6 kills, 3 assists, 26 digs and Sarah MCLeod added 6 kills, 16 digs, 3 assists and 3 aces.
Clawson started the day with a loss to Rochester Adams (11-25, 22-25) but pushed hard during the second set before adding a win against South Lake (25-14, 25-18) for their 2nd match of the day. The Trojan wrapped up pool play with a hard loss against Ferndale (18-25, 20-25) but secured the No. 1 seed for bracket play in the Bronze.
The Trojans met South Lake for a rematch in the Bronze Bracket semifinal and defeated them in 3 sets (25-20, 22-25, 15-2). They advanced to the finals against Roseville and had a tough loss in three sets (25-23, 20-25, 16-17) but made Roseville earn every point. Great job by all.

Clawson Varsity Volleyball traveled to Centerline and won in 3 sets (25-12, 25-12, 25-7) on Wednesday.
After a slight hiccup at the start, the team had amazing runs on serves with 95%, huge passes and digs, and sets and kills for another amazing night of volleyball. Leading the way in aces were Dana Moss with 7, Sarah McLeod with 3, Meghan Shea and Sophia Snyder with 3 each and Lana Wilder with 1. Cassidy Perry led the Trojans with 52 assists and 2 digs, Sophia Snyder had 8 digs and 3 kills, Meghan Shea had 7 digs and 1 kill, Lana Wilder had 5 digs and 3 kills, Sarah McLeod had 5 digs and a kill, Grace Fisher added 4 digs, Sophia Snyder added 2 digs and Abby Genette, Addison Tikey each had a dig. Dana Moss and Addison Tikey added 6 kills each, Lana Wilder and Sophia Snyder each added 3 kills, and Meghan Shea and Sarah McLeod each added a kill.

Clawson Varsity Volleyball fell to Sterling Heights in 4 sets (25-18, 13-25, 21-25, 23-25) on Thursday at home.
With a first set win and 2nd set loss, the Trojans dug deep for two sets with great rallies, amazing saves, huge blocks, cross court kills, high sets, and aces for some thrilling off the seat volleyball. Leading the way in aces were Sarah McLeod with 3, Meghan Shea and Abby Genette with 2 each and Sophia Snyder and Cassidy Perry each adding 1. Cassidy Perry led the Trojans with 21 assists and 15 digs, Meghan Shea with 11 kills and 15 digs, Sarah McLeod with 2 kills and 21 digs, Addison Tikey with 6 kills and 3 digs, Abby Genette with 7 digs, Sophia Snyder with 3 kills, Dana Moss added 2 kills and Dani Moss added another kill to the points. Grace Fisher and Sophia Snyder had some amazing saves during the long rallies to keep the ball in play. Great team effort and next game is on Wednesday September 11th against Centerline at home at 6:30PM. Trojans are 0-2 and 0-1 in league.

After losing the first two sets to New Haven 18-25 and 23-25, the Trojans dug deep and rallied the next two sets with back to back wins of 26-24, 25-19 to push a fifth set. Leading the way in aces were Meghan Shea and Cassidy Perry with three each, Lana Wilder added two, and Sarah McLeod and Sophia Snyder each added an ace. Adding to points with kills were Meghan Shea with 7, Lana Wilder and Addison Tikey with 6 each, Cassidy Perry with 5, Dana and Dani Moss with 4 each, Sarah with 3, and Sophia Snyder, Abby Genette and Grace Fisher each adding a point. Cassidy Perry added 29 assists, Grace Fisher had 2, and Meghan Shea and Addison Tikey each had an assist. Leaders in the back row digging it up were Sarah McLeod with 22, Cassidy Perry with 16, Meghan Shea with 12, Abby Genette with 9, Sophia Snyder with 7, Grace Fisher with 6, Lana Wilder and Dani Moss each had 4, and Dana Moss and Addition Tikey each added 2. While there was exciting volleyball, the Trojans unfortunately dropped the fifth set 7-15.
